Better retention, interactive learning adapted to your rhythm helps you remember more
Efficient use of time, no delays due to group dynamics or differences in ability and level
Full focus, A distraction-free environment ensures your attention stays on wine
Never overwhelmed, concise teaching of one subject, tackled in one hour
How is the pricing determined?
With Dionysos, you benefit from private, one-on-one coaching tailored to your goals, ensuring that every session is focused on your progress. You also enjoy the flexibility to learn at your own pace, with content designed around your personal interests and priorities.
When compared to other wine schools offering the same amount of time and content quality, our pricing is fully aligned but the experience you receive is far more personalized and impactful.
Can I start but stop whenever I want?
If you signed up for pay-as-you-go classes, you are in total control of when you want to start and when you want to stop the classes.
If you sign up for our 5-hour or 10-hour package course, you're free to stop once these have been used up.
1 hour session has 1 month validity.
5-hour package has 3 months validity.
10-hour package has 6months validity.
What happens if I miss a scheduled session?
If you cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours in advance, you can move your session to another time.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session will be charged and cannot be rescheduled.
If I can't attend anymore, will I get a refund?
All session packages are paid in advance. If you're unable to attend anymore and need to cancel, you are eligible to a full refund under certain circumstances specified in our Terms and Conditions (moving abroad, medical condition).
If you cancel for personal reasons, you're eligible for a 50% refund, no fuss.
Can I attend the coaching with my spouse/a friend?
Yes!
Although the coaching is designed for one-on-one sessions, it can easily be adapted for two people. You’re welcome to invite your partner, a friend, or even a colleague. Each person would need to subscribe to the same session package, and we’ll issue a separate invoice for them. As a bonus, both of you will enjoy a 10% discount.
Is there a maximum group size for group sessions?
For one-on-one sessions, whether online or in person, the maximum is 2 people.
Is the first 30 minutes free?
Yes, your first 30 minutes are always free!
This time is for you to get a feel for the coaching: ask questions, identify your strengths and areas for improvement, and define your personal learning plan while starting to explore with your educator.
Can you teach me about specific wine regions I'm interested in?
Absolutely! Your lessons will focus on the regions and topics that interest you most.
If you’re unsure where to start, our wine expert will help you choose based on your preferences and favorite wine styles.
How many sessions do I need to feel confident about wine?
We say that you feel empowered and much more confident and knowledgeable after as little as 5 hours. Any extra hour is taking you to other levels, and sky is the limit.
Do you provide any materials or resources to take home?
You'll receive every study material before, during, and after every session.
Can sessions be conducted in languages other than English?
Our principal coach runs sessions in English and in French.
We're looking at recruiting freelance coaches speaking mandarin and other languages, shall the need arise. Feel free to get in touch with alexia@dionysos-wine.com to discuss language arrangements.
Do you provide the wines for tastings during sessions?
For lessons that include wine tasting:
Online courses: You will need to purchase your own wines for each session. Don’t worry we will guide you and suggest the best wines to get before each session.
In-person courses at our meeting location: Wines are available through our partnered wine bar at a discounted price. You will need to pay for them, but the special pricing makes it easier to enjoy the recommended wines during your sessions.
Do you offer corporate packages for team building?
Yes! Wine training is available for larger groups in a corporate setting. Our sessions are perfect for team building, networking, or special company events.
Can you help me choose wines for my event?
Absolutely! You can book a session whenever you need. Whether it’s event planning, selecting wines or creating perfect pairings, our wine experts can provide personalized guidance to meet any requirement.
